 D-DOJO TESTIMONIALS.

I would like to thank D-Dojo and especially its sensei Igor to welcome me in his club. Igor is a really good teacher and also a tough competitor in all kind of practices : technical, Kata, Kumite. I've been practicing Karate for 12 years, especially in Kumite and it real pleasure and honor to train myself with Igor and D-Dojo members. I'm learning a lot. I'm so glad to have found this club because I come from France and when I just moved to NYC I didn't know if I could find a club like mine in France. I know a lot of teachers and igor is for sure, one of the best who I have met ! He knows how to train, to speak, to explain and to motivate people at any level of learning. I recommend you to try his very good training. You will enjoy for sure ! Thanks d-Dojo, Thanks Igor.

D-Dojo is the perfect blend of traditional karate with a modern day application. The training is hard but very technical. Sensi Igor has that vision to detect any deficits in seemingly perfect techniques. In the true essence of traditional Shotokan karate there is the constant quest to perform that perfect technique. His class embodies seeking perfection of character.
Sensi Igor unlike other sensei's doest not simply barks orders but performs the drill with the class, giving that extra motivation. His technical ability also provides a live image on how karate should be performed. It seems as though he was transported through time from among Funakoshi's students into present day. His understanding of Shotokan karate is remarkably profound.
I would not hesitate in highly recommending D-Dojo. If you are looking for that precise balance of kata, kumite, kihon with a real life application, then D-Dojo is the club for you. Oss

I have known Igor as an athlete for last ten years. We first met at the World karate championship in Italy in 1997 where he took the first place. I was impressed by Igor's advanced technique and lightning fast moves. Over the last ten years Igor proved himself as the top notch karateka by winning numerous high level championships in both kata and kumite. It is very rare when a karateka is successful in both kata (forms) and kumite (sparring).
In addition to being a superb athlete, Igor is a gifted karate instructor. I have been to many of his karate classes, both personal training and group training. You can immediately feel yourself in real martial arts school. The discipline and concentration among students is a proof of that. He teaches them karate the right way. Having been to many other karate clubs I assure you that Igor shows a real example of modern karate dojo. Unfortunately, many do not know the difference between a correct technique and "broken" one when they join karate schools. A lot of people join “wrong” clubs and end up learning "broken" technique. It is important to learn the right way from the first day. Otherwise, it takes twice as much time and effort to change the wrong technique. I highly recommend Sensei Dyachenko's D-Dojo as he best karate dojo in New York and one of the best in the US.

"That guy can break bricks with his fists - he doesn't want to hear your jibber-jabber."

"... Mr. Igor Dyachenko demonstrated exceptional skill and competence and outstanding karate ability. He must be viewed as one of the most outstanding karate talents in the world, and I am sure that  Mr. Igor Dyachenko will distinguish himself in future international and world championship events. He is truly an elite world-class athlete and karate competitor. I  wish him continued success in all his future endeavors."

Exec.Chairman / World Traditional Karate Organization (WTKO), NYC

"I was immediately impressed about Igor's ability to explain each and every small karate secrets and other martial arts technical details, in fact it very important
in any kind of martial arts first to understand and then to execute the correct moves. Igor is not only a great champion with amazing sporting background and experience, but also a very  good trainer, which in fact is a very rare to meet. His unique system of training helps to improve  sports skills at any level and state of health.  It's really a big advantage when  the
coach not only verbally and  visually explains to his students all little details, demonstrates     the right positions, moves etc., but also closely follows student mistakes, gives him/her instructions and obtains from them a correct execution. I am sure 100% that anybody who joins Igor Dyachenko's karate class won't be disappointed."

Although I'm only 17, I've been practicing karate for 10 years now under many different senseis and dojos in New York City. D-dojo is different from most dojos out there and I like it for learning how to focus better. Igor has helped me correct my form and stamina. In just three lessons I learned more than I would from a month of my previous trainings. Its not just good for advanced students like myself, but is great for beginners by teaching them every detail of the proper karate form. You learn to feel your muscles and know your body. I'm going to keep going and in 1 year I know I will achieve better results and win more championships than before, either way I know my form, my body, and my fitness is getting in the best shape ever. This dojo is sooooooo awsome!!!!
